A head-on collision was reported at 8:11 AM near the north tower on the Marin County side of the Golden Gate Bridge December 5. The California High Patrol issued a SIG-alert at 8:22 AM and canceled it at 9:05 AM. The collision occurred in the center lanes, and all northbound lanes and two southbound lanes were blocked for almost an hour. The crash occurred in the fourth in a series of storms to hit Northern California in the past week. Minor injuries were reported.
